1 February 2025

Lost of charity initiatives have been set up and many will follow to raise funds for the victims and their families, who suffered from the horrible wildfires in Los Angeles. One of
it was a huge FireAid this past week, with superstars such as Lady Gaga, Green Day, Billie Eilish, original Nirvana members and more.

British glam rock veterans DEF LEPPARD who were based in America throughout their career do their contribution with covering the 1961 classic STAND BY ME performed by soul legend Ben E. King

Joe Elliott (frontman): “Los Angeles and its surrounding area has always played a central role in Def Leppard’s career, from it being where some of us are based and it being our US hub for rehearsals, to being the city where we played our first-ever American gig. We feel blessed to be able to dedicate this song and give all the royalties to the amazing heroes in L.A. helping those affected by the fire. No better song.”
