26 January 2022

(Press photo – capture by BB)

Band: MECHANIMAL
Who: A modular band from Athens – Greece, an industrial project, a
unique collective of musicians and video artists, recording in various
permutations and staying true to the original roots of post-punk
melancholy.

New album: LIVING WITH ANIMAL GHOSTS

To celebrate their 10th birthday (with 5 studio albums on their shelves)
Mechanimal invited friends to remix their beloved M track.

Mechanimal: “We thought it would be interesting to ask our friends or fellow
artists to choose their favorite Mechanimal song and remix it, edit it, or do as
they wished, according to their own sound and style. We provided the raw material
to them and each gave us back a new song, for Mechanimal’s 6th album. For us,
it’s an honor, as well as extremely touching, for musicians to open a dialogue
through our music with their music.”

Alive And Kicking Emotions – ‘FLUORESCENT BLACK’ By Rocking Duo MECHANICAL

3 December 2020

MECHANICAL is a rowdy two-man band from Croatia, formed in 2019. They’re all about alternative, psychedelic, and progressive rock combined with philosophy.

And they walk it like they talked it. Their super-duper debut single FLUORESCENT BLACK
is a cast-iron rocker fueled by layers of thunder and lighting guitars, massive drum beats and highly emotional vocals. Combine Soundgarden‘s dramatic impact and Royal Blood‘s high-tempered robustness and you know what to expect.

Fluorescent black shining bliss
Scope of the colors that I’ve seen
Making the present far more real
Far more vivid and more clear

And my heart that now is keen
Vision now starts to fade
Now I want more to feel
Once again, I want to
I want to play

Play it loud

New Multi-Faceted Album By Electronic Act MECHANIMAL – Discover ‘CRUX’ Here…

8 February 2020

Band: MECHANIMAL

Who: A ‘drone n roll’ project from Athens Greece founded
by Giannis Papaioanou and joined by Freddie Faulkenberry
producing “a stunning mix of post-punk, electro and industrial

Album: CRUX – released 27 January 2020

Sound/lyrics: “Crux” is an in-depth exploration of the past, present, and (possible) future
of everyday life with the aim of personal awakening. It focuses on an idea that can account
for the melding of seemingly incompatible musical worlds and theories with respect to the mechanisms of each one of them. It could easily be described as the absolute “crossover”
album of Mechanimal, or simply the one where the ideas and obsessions of its members
meet at the heart of the mechanical animal. It consists of electronic music, spoken word,
cut-up images and videos, deconstructed slogans, ideas and actions. A multidimensional
collage inspired by the harsh reality, or otherwise the violent regularity that is “enforced”
(by the new music industry to home entertainment and by “fake news” to climate change),
and at the same time criticized.”

Turn Up The Volume: An intriguing, political and multi-faceted record from atmospheric and reflective soundscapes (Ghetto Level / Sharon / Stolen Fresh / Hospital Of The Storm / La Poverina Della Ossa) to high-powered, industrial drones (Scavengers / Easy Dead), from darkwave (Red Mirror) to trippy techno (Razor Tube / Vanquish). So much to uncover with every listening, so much to relish with every spin.
