Irish Rockers OTHERKIN Tackle Sexual Abuse On New Orchestral Anthem ‘ALL THAT REMAINS WON’T BE THE SAME’…

Brand new sonic impulses

5 April 2019

Last month Irish rockers OTHERKIN released stunning new single Thombstone.
A giant musical step forward from their early, raw punk inspired, days. And today
the band launched another new track confirming their fresh adventurous sound
and their ever-present social commitment.

New one ‘ALL THAT REMAINS WON’T BE THE SAME’ is a song written after “the horror stories that emerged of everyday abuse and sexism perpetrated by men of power in all walks
of life. It’s a rejection of anyone who feels they can behave that way and the title itself is a declaration for change, a statement that these vile actions have no place in society today”
explains frontman Luke Reilly in a press statement.

Sonically it’s a tremendous multi-instrumental ripsnorter exploding after the synth and warning siren-like intro into a fully charged groove that moves in different invigorating directions while glowing horns heating up the ardent chorus. Oh my gosh! Otherkin just turned into a monumental orchestra! After hearing this I’m sure you will be waiting impatiently for their second album…
