New sonic impulses…

Last month British indie THE CRIBS announced their eight album,
entitled NIGHT NETWORK, out 13 November.

We already heard the lead-single Running Into You (listen below)
and here’s new piece number two. I DON’T KNOW WHO I AM.

“Lyrically, the song addresses the disconnect that Ryan and myself have always
had with our biological paternal lineage – and how that may have shaped our
views on masculinity, gender roles, and the men we ultimately grew up to be”
says bassist and vocalist Gary Jarman.

Former Sonic Youth’s guitarist Lee Ranaldo joined the family in
the studio for this track. They already worked together back in 2007.

For some reasons I hear pet sounds on I Don’t Know Who I Am.
Yes, Beach Boys echoes with a multi-layered resonance.
