Band: The Bodysnatchers
Who: Ska band formed in London in 1979 by Nicky Summers
with the wonderful Rhoda Dakar as lead-singer. They released
two singles for the legendary 2 Tone records.
Anecdote: They were invited to play at Debbie Harry‘s birthday
party in 1979. Not many can say that.

Single: Let’s Do Rock Steady – the original, much slower,
version was by Dandy Livingstone Thompson
