6 December 2020

Band: THE WHITE STRIPES (Detroit)
Active: 1997-2011

Album: GREATEST HITS
Released: 4 December 2020

AllMusic / Heather Phares says: “The idiosyncratic track list shuffles the pages
of the Stripes’ songbook, bringing new life to their music in the process… It’s clear
a lot of love went into crafting The White Stripes Greatest Hits, and its quirks should
make it all the more endearing to fans and newcomers alike.”
Score: 4.5/5.

Jack White: “I’d make a White Stripes record right now. I’d be in the White Stripes for
the rest of my life. That band is the most challenging, important, fulfilling thing ever to
happen to me. I wish it was still here. It’s something I really, really miss.”

Turn Up The Volume: Two Nation Army, Jack and Meg, made blues famous
again by adding a raw punk-esque energy you simply couldn’t resist. Hail hail!

Two brand new videos for old songs rApple Blossom and Let’s Shake Hands
were created as promo for the greatest hits collection.

– APPLE BLOSSOM –

– LET’S SHAKE HANDS –

THE WHITE STRIPES: Facebook

An unforgettable memory. The White Stripes in Brussels in 2001 in a 150-cap club.
The gig was phenomenal but talking to Jack White between support act Von Bondies
and the Stripes performance was pretty cool too! Yeah!
