British independent record label Memphis Industries have corralled their musical titans to create some holiday songs with the hope of bringing cheer and warming cockles to the cynical and season-loving alike.
2 pounds per sold album goes to Crisis’ Home for All Campaign. This UK organisation provides advice and practical help to people newly facing homelessness, and support people need to keep their homes – with mental health, wellbeing, work, and benefits.
The festive collection, titled LOST CHRISTMAS, is available on vinyl and digital. The album (with grand cover art by Luke Drozd) features faithful renderings and Krautrock reworks of seasonal classics by Field Music, The Go! Team, Jesca Hoop, The Phoenix Foundation, and 6 more artists.
