Turn Up The Volume: Even after all these years, the Manics – one of
my all-time favorite bands – do what they do terrifically best, writing
adrenalin-fueled pop anthems that make your ears smile, and move
your excited heart and yearning soul. I know, their slash-‘n’-burn punk
edge of the early days is gone. But their ardent pop sensibility is just
inexhaustible and, yes, they still tackle social issues/injustices – from
past and present – with a sharp pen.
A band designed for life.
Eternal tunesmiths.
