Superstars ARCTIC MONKEYS launch new album THE CAR on 21 October.

I don’t know who Alex Turner wants to become. Nick Cave? Franks Sinatra?
Leonard Cohen? It’s his choice, of course, but he just sounds like a mediocre
crooner to my ears. He hasn’t a naturally warm, melancholic, one-of-a-kind,
characterful voice like the great crooners have. And the problem gets bigger
when your ballads are as mediocre as your voice.

He already started his solo career with the previous sugary AM album
Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino (this was not a group effort) and it’s clear
he wants to continue his one-man journey on the new longplayer (not
a group effort either).

New single BODY PAINT is as boring as
the first one There’d Better Be A Mirrorball.
