Band: DRIPPING TREES
Who: Dutch outfit that opts for a compelling sound overflowing with fire-and-brimstone dynamics, noise and narrative imagination. Like eyes that get used to the dark, the quartet from Eindhoven – after experimenting extensively – began to become aware of its own dramatic tendencies. They released their debut album Fuel Of Mankind 2 years ago.

New single: STRAY

Stray is about the destructive search for the feeling of completeness.

TUTV: Stray feels like an enigmatic nightmare that your mind erases before you
wake up, which leaves you behind, puzzled and confused. Its slow-progressing pace,
its stripped-to-the-bone sonority, its glowing guitar and threatening bass reverberating and its feverish vocals grow in intensity along the way and head towards a melodramatic and bombastic finale that makes your jaws drop. Give it a couple of spins and let you drag into Dripping Trees‘ twilight world. Thing Mogwai‘s quietest moments and, yes, in some way David Lynch‘s Twin Peaks Theme.

Press play.
