Band: THE BANKES BROTHERS
Who: Canadian indies from British Colombia who got together in a pool hall one Friday night in 2017 and played their first gig less than a week later. Within three days of that show, we had written a handful of original songs.

New single: THINGS I’LL NEVER LEARN
From their upcoming ‘In Waves’ EP.

“The song speaks loud and clear to the age-old problem of being drawn to entanglements
+of the heart that just shouldn’t be. It rings true with all of us in the band as we think back
on broken hearts from relationships that we just weren’t suited for.”

TUV: Following excellent debut single In Waves The Bakes Brothers score again with this jangly indie pop earworm that made my day from the first listen. It echoes British quirky heroes The Smiths/Johnny Marr‘s galvanism. Say no more.

Check it out.
