We lost two musical Irish icons last year with
SINEAD O’CONNOR and SHANE MACGOWAN.
Back in 1994 they teamed up for a cover of The Pogues‘s 1986 gem
HAUNTED. The song featured on Shane MacGowan & The Popes
1994 LP The Snake.
Sinead looks gorgeous and Shane is Shane.

On 20 March, a group of friends and collaborators will salute the both of them with an
all-star Carnegie Hall in New York City tribute show featuring Cat Power, the Mountain Goats, the Dropkick Murphys, Glen Hansard, Amanda Palmer, David Gray, Bettye Lavette, Gogol Bordello’s Eugene Hutz, Julia Cumming, Kat Edmonson,, the Resistance Revival Chorus and more TBA.
