Daily electricity to load your batteries

Back in July 2017 horrible news hit the massive fan base of nu-metal rockers
LINKIN PARK when the passing of frontman Chester Bennington was announced.
He committed suicide at the age of 41.
The Californian band released 7 albums between 2000 and 2007. Now their future
was one big question. But recently rumours suggested that LP was about to restart.
Now it’s official. They’re back with this new line-up. Longtime members Mike Shinoda,
Brad Delson, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell and Joe Hahn, alongside two newcomers Emily Armstrong of grunge rockers Dead Sara and drummer Colin Brittain (songwriter-producer for G Flip, Illenium).
They canned a new longplayer, baptized FROM ZERO. Yes they start again from
scratch. The LP will hot the streets on November 15th. Pre-order info here.
Shinoda about the album: “Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking. Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present, and future — embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life. It was made with a deep appreciation for our new and longtime bandmates, our friends, our family, and our fans. We are proud of what Linkin Park has become over the years, and excited about the journey ahead.”
Shinoda about the new members: “The more we worked with Emily and Colin, the more
we enjoyed their world-class talents, their company, and the things we created. We feel really empowered with this new lineup and the vibrant and energized new music we’ve made together. We’re weaving together the sonic touch points we’ve been known for and still exploring new ones.”
First single THE EMPTINESS MACHINE is a jagged juggernaut featuring the first performance of Emily Armstrong, alongside co-vocals by Shinoda. Her high-voltage
voice fits LP perfectly, although the fans are raving about the comeback, they will
have Chester Bennington on their minds forever.
