Band: HalfCutLemon
Who: A Copenhagen-based alternative rock quartet blending raw punk aesthetics
with cinematic depth and lyrical introspection. Formed by musicians with a shared
love of emotionally driven songwriting, the band crafts immersive soundscapes that
draw from post-punk, alt-rock, and experimental music.

The song explores the insecurities of youth and the ways in which people
mask their vulnerability – be it through religion, aesthetics or social identity.
TUTV: Chainsaw riffs, brawny drumming, sinewy vocals, and a vivid velocity cause
a sonic dizziness. Then unexpectedly, around the 1.50 minute mark, the band take
a turn, slow down and resonate like a moody, psychedelic Interpol song, but not for
long, as they erupt with vivacious vigor and chaotic clamour to close this huge haymaker.
Wowzers.
