Band: SPIRIT GHOST
Who: Boston garage rock outfit, spearheaded
by singer-songwriter Alex Whitelaw.
They have, hitherto, released 4 albums, with this
year’s Ordinary People as the most recent one.
Track: DUNGEON CRAWLER
New single that will feature on their upcoming
6-track EP, dubbed Dark Magic. Out on Jan 27th
via Happen Twice.
Whitelaw: “The song is about feeling trapped in circumstances that
make people increasingly exhausted, disposable and powerless.”
TUTV: Back to the garage rock 60s, folks. Jangly guitars, tambourine, simple
drum beats, echoing vocals, and pa-pa-pa harmonies on the chirpy chorus.
Sickly sticky tune.
Let’s roll.
