Ex-Sonic Youth ringleader THURSTON MOORE seems to have a burst of creativity during this surreal coronavirus crisis. In spring, he entertained us with some old outtakes and rarities but also a new track called Cantaloupe from upcoming album By The Fire.

Another new cut from that LP just arrived. SIREN is a 12-minute jam sounding like if Moore was alone in the studio (at home) and went on and on until… the end. It’s a mind-boggling guitar and drums spiced groove with Moore deciding suddenly, around the 9-minute mark, to add some spacey vocals. A hypnotic trip making you feel relaxed and intoxicated.
