New sonic impulses…

6 May 2020

With last’s year rousing debut album Drogel Irish firm post-punk rockers FONTAINES D.C. hit the scene with a big bang. One of the best 2019 longplayers on Turn Up The Volume‘s list.

Their follow-up LP ‘A HERO’S DEATH‘ is already waiting in the pipeline, out 31st July.
And here’s the first single and title track. It could have been a highlight on Drogel with its pumped-up pace, frontman Grian Chatten rattling non-stop rant while the band produces an adrenalin beat that grows in tension along its thundery way.

It’s a heated ripper of hope and having faith in the future

“Life ain’t always empty / Don’t get stuck in the past/ Say your favorite things at
mass / Tell your mother that you love her/ And go out of your way for others.”

Here’s the accompanying video…
