57-year-old songsmith JEFF TWEEDY has always been a very productive musician from his early days on with Uncle Tupelo (1987-1994), then of course with Wilco (13 albums so far) and solo.
As announced before his new solo LP, actually a triple-one, called
Twilight Override will see the day of light on September 26th.

Another new one Feel Free followed and now we get the 5th preview
with the greatly titled rocker LOU REED WAS MY BABYSITTER.
Tweedy: “The joy in this dark music that Lou Reed made, and the beautiful conflict that it creates when you try and analyze it. And how it was such a positive force for so many people. ‘My life was saved by rock and roll’ — Lou Reed is saying the same thing. I was babysat by fucking Lou Reed, literally, in my bedroom as a 10-year-old, 12-year-old kid. His music was a more legitimate mentor to me than most of my teachers.”
Definitely echoes from Reed‘s VU days. Pretty cool.
